Financial Initiatives
Through local and regional partnerships, PRF engages in various initiatives that help us transform the economic landscape for future generations.
The focus of the Pre-Release Financial initiative (PRFi) is provide financial education in recovery ministries and multi-jurisdictional Department of Corrections programs. According to a study completed in 30 states by the National Institute of Justice, of all the recidivists released from prison… more than half (56.7%) were rearrested within the first year after their release.
